Alisha Lehmann heats up Instagram with her stunning bikini photos

Aston Villa standout Alisha Lehmann posted stunning bikini-clad pictures on her recent in-season getaway.

The Swiss bombshell shared a few images of her in a green bikini in what appears to be the Iberian peninsula. The post drew over 1 million likes on Instagram as Lehmann once again soaked in social media fame.

The flipside of Lehmann’s social media fame as “World’s sexiest footballer”

However, Alisha Lehmann has experienced the downside of being a highly followed female soccer player in football.

In an interview with talkSPORT, the 24-year-old revealed that some abuse started to take its toll.

“Some people just see Instagram and social media and don’t even know I actually play football, when I don’t post a football picture for a week, people say, ‘oh she doesn’t even play,’” she said.

“I think sometimes it’s a bit hard because obviously I play like I train every day, like everyone else, like I play every weekend and sometimes it’s hard because they make a picture of you.

“I’m a proper footballer. I work hard every day. I want to be the best version of myself in football and that’s my first priority in life.”

One of the “world’s sexiest footballers” — the other being Croatian Ana Maria Marković — Alisha Lehmann recently garnered attention after befriending Marcus Rashford at a nightclub for a quick rescue.

Last April, a mob of men swarmed the Villa star, triggering an invite from the Man United striker to seek shelter in his VIP section of the club.

Separately, the adult subscription site My.Club also offered the forward a six-figure deal to join its platform to post so-called “thirst traps.”

The 24-year-old rightfully declined to focus on her football and continue her risque social media popularity, shushing the haters. “It gives me strength, 100% you want my life,” she told Football Daily.
