UFC bantamweight title contender Aljamain Sterling commented on Gilbert Burns’s early defeat against welterweight champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 258.
After an unsuccessful fight, the Brazilian did not hold back his emotions and cried right in the octagon. Aljamain Sterling noted that he understands how painful this defeat has become for Burns.
“I could only imagine the hurt from losing that. You put everything on the line. Your friendship, your gym, your pride, your families- Everything” – wrote Aljamain Sterling on his Twitter page.

Recall that Usman defeated Burns by TKO in the third round. The challenger had a good first round, but then the champion rebuilt and began to dominate.
