An insider under the nickname Okami published a post on Twitter, where he commented on the latest news about the development of GTA 6.
Earlier it became known that Rockstar is recruiting new testers in several of its studios. In one of the vacancies, candidates were required to be familiar with the company’s current franchises. Fans saw this as a hint of the imminent announcement of a new GTA part.
But Okami has a completely different opinion on this:
“Hate to break it to y’all but GTA 6 is at least 4-5 years away. I’d be shocked if we had it in our hands before 2025.”

At the moment, there is no official information about the development of GTA 6. It is not known if any work is underway on the game. Recently, rumors about an estimated release date have been increasingly appearing on the Web, but Rockstar has not commented on them in any way.
