Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo have been at each other’s throats for years and counting. The lovable Mexican recently revealed why he doesn’t like the current flyweight champion.

After losing a unanimous decision against Figueiredo at UFC 270, he earned his way back to a title shot after a perfectly placed body shot against Kai Kara-France. He now has the chance to recapture the throne against the heavy-hitting Brazilian on Saturday.
During a recent interview, Brandon Moreno detailed what happened to make him dislike Deiveson Figueiredo, insisting it’s the champion’s constant switch in personality that he doesn’t like. He said:
“Since the first fight, he’s talking sh*t about me. Then, [when] I beat him in the second fight, the guy hugged me and lifted me up and whatever, and then next week he started to talk sh*t again about me. After the Kai Kara-France fight, he came to the octagon trying to find some problems… Then, next week, he started to talk sh** again about me. That’s too much. I think that’s enough reason to not like the guy.”
Figueiredo has been vocal on social media and has made some wild claims regarding Moreno and his team, leaving a bitter taste in the mouth of the Mexican and those around him.
The pair of flyweights are set to collide once again inside the octagon. If it’s anything like their first three outings, viewers can expect another brilliant fight for as long as it lasts.
