Charles Oliveira sees no point in fighting Nate Diaz.

UFC rated lightweight Charles Oliveira has no interest in fighting Nate Diaz as the Brazilian’s main goal is to fight for the division title. Oliveira’s coach Diego Lima announced this in an interview with AG Fight.

Charles Oliveira sees no point in fighting Nate Diaz.

We will remind, earlier the youngest of the Diaz brothers expressed a desire to share the octagon with Oliveira.

To be honest, this is a fight in which theoretically it makes no sense for us. Nate plays too little and takes a lower place in the ranking. This fight can only happen for financial reasons. But even so, I do not think that for us it will be profitable to fight him at this point in time. We know that McGregor sells a lot of pay-per-view. And everyone he fights with, makes good money. However, Nate is not at this level. Our goal is the belt. And even if it promises a financial benefit, I do not see what this fight can give Charles in terms of career. Our goal is the only one – the lightweight title, “- said Lima.
