UFC 300 main card featured a BMF title fight between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway.
There couldn’t possibly be a better way to remember UFC 300 or be crowned the BMF champion than what Max Holloway produced on April 13.
The former featherweight champion put in an incredible display against Justin Gaethje but where this fight will be remembered is in the final seconds.
Holloway gestured to the center of the cage in the closing moments – much like what he did against Ricardo Lamas back in the day – and engaged in an all out brawl with “The Highlight”.
With one second left on the clock, he landed a huge right hand that sent Justin Gaethje crashing face-first to the canvas, out cold.
His performance itself was worthy of that stage but with that knockout, Max Holloway goes down in the history books for one of the best knockouts we have ever seen in the Octagon.
