The contestants of the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) recently gave their best shot at impersonating Conor McGregor. It is worth noting that ‘The Notorious’ has returned to the UFC as a coach of TUF 31. While the season will start airing on May 30, the filming of the upcoming season has already started.
In a recent interview with The Schmo, some of the contestants from TUF 31 were asked to give their best impression of Conor McGregor. Mando Gutierrez started off by giving his best shot at mimicking the Irishman by saying:
“Closed fists, its all about the trajectory. The trajectory and the aim you hit them right in the nose.”
Further in the video, McGregor’s infamous line referring to Jeremy Stephens at the UFC 205 press-conference was brought back by Nate Jennerman, who said:
“Who the fu*k is that guy?”

Dana White claims there is a “lot of work to do” for Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler fight
As mentioned earlier, Conor McGregor returned to the UFC as a coach for the upcoming season of TUF. He will go up against rival coach Michael Chandler and the two will then square off inside the octagon upon the conclusion of the show.
While McGregor’s return has been highly anticipated by fans around the world. It looks like we might have to wait longer than expected to finally see him inside the octagon. As things stand right now, the date and the weight class are yet to be agreed upon to make the fight official.
In a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, UFC President Dana White spoke about the fight and gave fans an update regarding the date and which weight class it will take place in. While suggesting that there is a lot of work to be done in making the fight happen, White said:
“Those guys are fifty-five pounders, but we don’t what we’re gonna do yet, we’re still working on that, figuring that out. There’s a lot of work to do on the Conor fight still.”
Further in the video, Dana White said:
“Yeah, yeah yeah, they are gonna fight, when isn’t guaranteed. When, what weight class, what are these guys doing.”
