Conor McGregor gasses Khabib Nurmagomedov as taxman takes Khabib’s Ferrari fleet

Reports have Russia’s Federal Tax Service seizing Khabib Nurmagomedov’s assets for sale over $3.5M in unpaid taxes, and Conor McGregor is loving every minute of it.

Mash.ru was first to report that the retired UFC lightweight champion had been audited by the Federal Tax Service, who “uncovered irregularities in documents” relating to Nurmagomedov’s business investments. Now Mash.ru says that bailiffs are in the process of seizing Khabib’s properties and assets in Dagestan, including a $900,000 fleet of luxury cars that includes a Ferrari California T and Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S.

It has been noted that Khabib Nurmagomedov owns a family home in Dagestan and a collection of vehicles, including:

  • – Ferrari California T – $300,000
  • Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S – $161,000
  • – Mercedes-Benz S-Class – $122,000
  • – BMW 7 Series – $101,000
  • – Toyota Land Cruiser – $85,000
  • – Toyota Tacoma – $44,000

Worse still, Khabib has reportedly been prohibited from leaving the Russian Federation. That’s one more crime he’s now guilty of as “The Eagle” has been living in Dubai for over a year and shows no sign of returning. In fact, one possible source for this sudden rift with the Russian state may be Nurmagomedov’s hush-hush possession of a United Arab Emirates passport, which has kept him out of Russia’s grasp while this aggressive tax situation unfolds.

Conor McGregor hasn’t been short on running commentary during this process, and threw another jab as reports of the seizures circulated. He retweeted one user’s reply to the news that simply read ‘Meanwhile McGregor:’ above a video of “The Notorious” happily racing his speed boat.

For all the legal problems McGregor has had over the past few years, the taxman hasn’t been one of them. And while local Irish politicians consider Conor to be an annoyance at best and a hate monger at worst, they lack the authoritarian streak required to sic the state apparatus against him.

Conor McGregor recently declared he’s fully healed from a broken toe suffered in training, which means we could get official news of a return date any time now. Reports have the Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler fight penciled in for UFC 310 in December, but anything is possible when it comes to Mac, especially as he approaches the end of his current UFC contract.
