In 2009,  Andrei Arlovski was the main hater of Fedor Emelianenko

On January 24, 2009, the Affliction – Day of Reckoning tournament was held. The world saw one of the most anticipated heavyweight fights of those years. Pride promotion champion Fedor Emelianenko and former UFC champion  Andrei Arlovski find out which is better

The fight did not last even one round. It all ended at the moment when Fyodor threw an exact blow, which people call “lucky punch.”

Fedor: “Before our fight there was a lot of dirt on the Internet. There was a negative from Andrei and his team. I know that they used people who poured dirt and wrote on the Internet.”

Even eleven years later, Andrei Arlovski still recalls that battle with hatred. He can’t forget the defeat of Fedor and in each interview he declares that he would like to fight Emelianenko again.

Arlovski: “Let’s see, maybe we’ll also fight. And then we’ll see, I won’t definitely jump with my knee.”

Now Fedor is overtaking former UFC champion Kane Velazquez, Russians Sergey Kharitonov, Vitaliy Minakov, Denis Goltsov and Matt Mitrion. In the top 20 older than Emelianenko, only two: Mark Hunt and Chake Congo. And only two had more fights than Fedor: Alexey Oleinik (59 wins, 13 defeats) and Alistair Overeem (45-18).

In the last match, Fedor Emelianenko defeated Quinton Jackson by knockout in the first round!
