In Sarajevo, the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted France. Recall that these are the rivals of our team in the group stage of the World Cup 2022 selection.
It didn’t turn out to be a beautiful game. The French attacked at minimum speed, and the owners tried to catch the opponent on a mistake or on a counterattack. As a result, the teams hit two shots on target in 90 minutes.
The Bosnians had a 100% chance in the first half when Ahmedhodjic shot the gate of France after a corner, but Lloris showed miracles of goalkeeper skill and reaction. But the French took their chance in full. On the 60th minute, there was a cross from the flank from Rabiot, and Griezmann successfully hit his head. 0: 1.
The hosts had several chances to win back, but none of them ended in trouble for Lloris. As a result, “Le Bleu” won the least in Sarajevo and are four points ahead of Ukraine, which managed to lose points in the match with the Kazakhs.
The next round will take place right after Euro – September 1. In round four, these teams will again play against each other, but this time in Paris.
