Brazilian mixed martial artist Glover Teixeira has announced that he will become the reserve fighter for the fight between UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachovich and New Zealander Israel Adesanya.
“I will be a reserve fighter. I will have to go through a full training camp and make weight. I have just returned from vacation. My manager and I discussed our next steps and came to the conclusion that it is not a bad idea to take the place of a substitute for fighters, ”said Glover Teixeira.
As a reminder, Jan Blachowicz and Israel Adesanya will fight on March 6 at UFC Apex in Las Vegas, USA, in the main event of UFC 259.
