Kennedy Nzechukwu captured another impressive heavyweight knockout earlier tonight (Sat., Dec. 7, 2024) at UFC 310 LIVE on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, stopping Lukasz Brzeski with a vicious first-round barrage (punches).
The former light heavyweight fighter made his successful UFC heavyweight debut back in October at UFC 308 with a TKO victory over Chris Barnett. However, Barnett hurt his leg early into that fight so fans didn’t get a full look at the heavyweight version of Nzechukwu. Saturday night’s clash with Brzeski was his real chance to standout.
Luckily for those fight fans who rolled into T-Mobile Arena early on, Nzechukwu delivered a memorable outing. After a few minutes of action that saw a massive speed advantage for Nzechukwu, “American Savage” uncorked a huge right hook counter that dropped Brzeski. Nzechukwu piled on top for a few insurance shots before the referee peeled him off.

Nzechukwu, 32, is now 2-0 as a member of the UFC’s shallow heavyweight division and may have just locked down a shot at the top 15 to start the new year. Brzeski isn’t anything special, but Nzechukwu looked pretty solid and could make a push up the proverbial ladder in a weight class better suited for his size and reach.
