Gabriel Jesus has been in England since 2017 but is only getting around to doing his driving lessons now, and his Arsenal teammate Jorginho spotted him mid-lesson recently.
Everyone remembers doing their first driving lessons and the fear of being spotted by your mates mid-lesson and that is what happened to Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus recently as the Brazilian was caught by Jorginho.
What makes it worse for the 25-year-old, is that the Italy international put the interaction on social media but the former Man City star seemed to see the funny side of it all.
Jorginho finished off my wishing Jesus ‘good luck’ prior to laughing once more, while Jesus could only smile back as he continued to be filmed.
Jorginho and Jesus are yet to play for Arsenal together due to the latter being ruled out with a knee injury he sustained at the World Cup in December that required surgery.
That could change shortly, though, as Jesus has been stepping up his recovery in recent weeks and looks set to return to the first-team squad shortly.
Being able to complete a driving lesson offers another indication that his knee is well and truly on the mend, and the 25-year-old is reportedly in contention to travel with Arsenal for their Europa League clash with Sporting Lisbon on Thursday.
Jesus scored five goals in 14 league appearances in the first part of the season having joined Arsenal from Manchester City last summer, and his return would be a welcome boost for the Gunners as they look to hold off his former club in the title race.
