Former dominant UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov sparred in wrestling with his friend and teammate Islam Makhachev.
Now Islam Makhachev is preparing for his next fight, and Khabib “Eagle” Nurmagomedov, who has finished his career, decided to help him during this preparation, as Islam himself announced on his Instagram page.
“Take it easy, we are no longer in the same weight class,” Islam Makhachev wrote, posting photos of a wrestling sparring with Nurmagomedov.
Recall that Islam Makhachev will hold his next fight with Brazilian Tiago Moises on July 17 at the UFC on ESPN 26 tournament. For the first time in his career, the Russian fighter will perform in the main event of the tournament under the auspices of the UFC.
