Jon Jones continued to troll Tyson Fury for switching stance on beating 'Bones' in a street fight

Jon Jones continued to troll Tyson Fury on social media after the heavyweight boxing champion changed his stance on whether he could beat him in a street fight.

‘The Gypsy King’ changed his stance after ‘Bones’ sounded off and issued a challenege to him for an MMA fight yesterday. He responded by mentioning that he isn’t an MMA fighter and instead offered to fight him in boxing, writing:

““I’m not a cage fighter, mate. I’m a boxer. So if you want to come into a boxing ring to fight me, be my guest.”

Jones took to Twitter to take another jab at Fury for changing his stance on what would transpire if they fought in anything other than a boxing fight. He mentioned that ‘The Gypsy King’ conveniently changed his stance only after receiving negative backlash for saying he could beat him:

“Yesterday, Tyson says, ‘no man born from a mother can beat me’, today he says ‘Jon can never beat me in a boxing ring’. Yeah I’m glad we got that clarified. You just switched your beat up faster than Travis Barker, impressive.”

It remains to be seen whether the two will continue trading jabs on social media, but a fight obviously seems unlikely.

Jon Jones challenges Tyson Fury to an MMA fight

Jon Jones took offense to Tyson Fury firing off on Joe Rogan for claiming that the UFC heavyweight champion would have no trouble having his way and beating the heavyweight boxing champion in a fight.

‘Bones’ tweeted a message directed towards Fury and doubled down on Rogan’s claims by issuing a challenge to put all those questions to rest. He offered an opportunity to fight him in the octagon, so they could find out who the better fighter is:

“Hey Tyson, it seem like Joe may have struck a nerve. I’ll admit there’s no one touching you in that ring right now, but let’s not let that confuse you with what would happen if you stepped foot in my cage. If you ever want to put some of those questions you got going on to rest, give Dana a call. I’ll help you out.”

Jones then responded to a fan’s question on how long the fight would last and he noted that it would be over in the first round.
