PFL women’s lightweight star Kayla Harrison reacted to comments from UFC President Dana White that she was not ready to fight in the UFC.

Kayla Harrison Reacts After Dana White Says She's Not Ready For The UFC: “I'm Ready To Meet The Best In The World”

Harrison is one of the most dominant female MMA fighters right now, as she has absolutely smoked competition in the PFL for the past three years, not to mention that she also won Invicta FC. There are many fans looking to see Harrison bring her talents to the UFC as many believe she could be one of the few fighters to challenge UFC featherweight champion Amanda Nunez. However, at the moment, Harrison is still under a contract with the PFL and is not part of the UFC.

Earlier this week, White made comments suggesting that Harrison was not ready to fight in the Octagon. Reacting to these comments, Harrison spoke to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani and said that if White and the UFC are willing to make money, they need to pay her well too.

I think if Dana is willing to pay me a lot of money, I will make her a lot of money,” Harrison said.

When asked if the UFC contacted her camp to sign her, Harrison said she wasn’t sure since she had a PFL contract. But she reiterated that her ultimate goal is to become the best female fighter on the planet, and the only way for her to do that is to join the UFC and fight the best female fighters in mixed martial arts.

As far as I know, no. I have a contract for the last three years, so I don’t even know. I’m not sure about that. But I have stated many times that I am ready to meet the best in the world, ”said Harrison.
