“absolute scruff this thing is. that’s full on staph infection all over his f**king face. A full f**king hole omg and it’s his second time to attempt to enter competition like this. wtf! clean your mats. wash yourself. f**king go to the doctor! Scruff.”

Gastelum became the latest fighter to accuse McGregor of using cocaine and steroids. The No.13-ranked middleweight was forced to pull out of the main event of UFC Fight Night 217 due to a mouth injury.

He was slated to face Nassourdine Imavov in a middleweight bout. Instead, the No.12-ranked middleweight will face No.7-ranked middleweight Sean Strickland in a light heavyweight bout.

Conor McGregor has previously accused Kelvin Gastelum of being unhygienic

Conor McGregor‘s strong reaction to Kelvin Gastelum’s photo isn’t the first time that the UFC’s biggest star has called out the former middleweight title challenger. In February 2019, as Gastelum prepared to take on then-middleweight champion Robert Whittaker for the title at UFC 234, McGregor took to Twitter to share that he shouldn’t be allowed to compete.

After watching the weigh-ins for the event, the former double champ stated:

“Why is that worm holding the 185lb belt? There are worms crawling on his skin! It was absolutely ludicrous to even consider allowing him to compete. Let alone now walk around the arena shaking our fans hands. Someone sort this, this instant. And sterilize that belt. Immediately.”

Whittaker was forced to withdraw from UFC 234 hours before the event due to an abdominal hernia of the intestine and a collapsed bowel.

Gastelum would instead face Israel Adesanya for the interim title at UFC 236 where he was defeated by unanimous decision in a bout that would later win Fight of the Year honors. Things have gone downhill for Gastelum since then as he has lost five of his past six bouts.
