Just last year, former UFC double champion Conor McGregor dropped his ‘McGregor Forever’ docuseries on Netflix. It garnered mixed reviews, as the Irishman added another documentary to his resume. Meanwhile, his former rival Khabib Nurmagomedov is also gearing up for his documentary’s release in 2024, but the fans don’t seem too excited about it.
Khabib Nurmagomedov has had one of the most exceptional MMA careers ever. He retired as an undefeated fighter and as the lightweight champion shortly after his father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov‘s death. While the 29-0 always stayed private and didn’t want to get into the limelight as a star, fans will get to have a peek into his life in his upcoming documentary.
Khabib Nurmagomedov is gearing up for his documentary
The UFC Hall of Famer is reportedly set for the release of his documentary ‘The Eagle’ on Netflix, the same platform where Conor McGregor also released his last documentary. Nevertheless, Khabib Nurmagomedov has a different story than the Irishman, as the poster for his documentary indicates that his relationship with his father could also be something that fans would be able to explore on the show.
Khabib Nurmagomedov had already mentioned that he was filming a documentary in Dagestan in 2023. The initial plans were for the documentary to come out in the summer. However, as per the latest reports, the release date has been scheduled for fall this year. But when it comes to the fans, they did not seem too thrilled about watching the documentary of one of the most iconic fighters ever. Let’s see why.
Fans take shots at ‘The Eagle’
Unlike the buzz Conor McGregor created for his documentary, fans did not seem to be excited about watching Khabib Nurmagomedov’s one. Furthermore, they slammed the Dagestani legend into doing things for money after having claimed that he only wanted to build his legacy in MMA.

Meanwhile, some other fans revealed that they have a bittersweet relationship with the UFC Hall of Famer.
