Khamzat Chimaev lampoons Paulo Costa's hair transplant in hilarious Twitter conflict

The ongoing back-and-forth between Khamzat Chimaev and Paulo Costa continues to bring out the sillier side of both men.

In the latest jibe from ‘Borz’, Paulo Costa’s hair transplant was brought up, with Chimaev posting a still from a video ‘Borrachinha’ did for the clinic he got the procedure at. The still shows Costa with a shaved head and bandaging as he discusses the aftermath of the surgery.

The pair have been taking shots at one another ever since their bizarre altercation at the UFC PI last year. The incident saw an enraged Chimaev have to be essentially held back from taking violent action against Costa.

More recently, Costa used the infamous virgin/Chad meme to lampoon Chimaev’s physique, hair, and weight-cutting issues back at UFC 279 among other things.

When a fan joked that Chimaev would track Costa down in a manner similar to USADA, ‘The Eraser’ suggested a bizarre course of action he’d take against ‘Borz’.

Khamzat Chimaev, meanwhile, has also opted for some more conventional trash talk in recent days.

Of course, trash talk against Costa wouldn’t be complete without at least one zinger regarding the infamous post-match taunt Israel Adesanya handed him at UFC 253.

Is Khamzat Chimaev vs. Paulo Costa On The Cards For 2023?

If rumors are to be believed, an exciting clash between ‘Borz’ and ‘Borrachinha’ could be on the way.

UFC 294, which takes place in Abu Dhabi in October, is widely expected to host this blockbuster bout. For Khamzat Chimaev, it would be his first appearance at 185lbs in three years. For Costa, meanwhile, it will mark his long-awaited return following his blood-soaked victory over Luke Rockhold back at UFC 278.

Longtime fan favorite fighter-turned-analyst Chael Sonnen recently weighed in on the matter as well. He discussed the various clues out there pointing towards this action-packed bout likely coming to fruition in the near future.
