A late Jarrod Bowen penalty gave West Ham a 2-1 win over Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
Both teams needed a win to attempt to break into the top half of the Premier League after poor starts.
It was The Red Devils who started brighter, with Alejandro Garnacho hitting the post, and in the first half there were chances for Casemiro, Marcus Rashford and Diogo Dalot amongst others.
In the second half, Rashford was taken off just before the hour mark as Erik ten Hag introduced Amad Diallo, but it was another substitute – Crysencio Summerville- who broke the deadlock on 74 minutes.
Seven minutes later, Casemiro scored as he headed in an equaliser after a Joshua Zirkzee assist, only to see a VAR decision go against Matthijs de Ligt, and Bowen score from the spot in the 92nd minute.
