Local residents of the village of Pilchowice in Poland have been on strike for several days. They oppose the filming of Mission: Impossible 7.
The thing is that the filmmakers of Mission Impossible will have to blow up a bridge located on the territory of this village during filming. This historic building celebrates 111 years this year.
The film’s director Christopher McQuarrie has already signed an agreement with the local administration and paid a round sum of money, as a result of which the railway bridge will be blown up. The villagers learned about this news and decided to start protests.

The Mission Impossible film’s producers immediately reacted to the protests of civilians.
They made a speech where it was said that the bridge would not be completely destroyed, but only some of its parts, which are still on the verge of destruction. Moreover, they explained that this bridge is not of historical value for Poland, so sooner or later it will still have to get rid of it.
The creators of the picture Mission Impossible also talked to journalists. They explained that local residents did not come out to the rally just like that, but because one special person really does not like the decision of the local administration. It was decided not to disclose the name of this person. Moreover, the director of the project publicly announced that after the filming of the film, a certain amount of money will be transferred to the budget of this village, which will be enough for the construction of a new railway bridge. This construction will improve the economic situation in the region, as well as attract a large number of people for tourism purposes.
Recall that in “Mission Impossible 7” the main role will be played by Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, who has already invested a huge amount of money in the shooting of the picture.
