Former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor did not ignore the performance of his ex-rival Jose Aldo in a fight against the rated lightweight fighter Pedro Munhoz at the UFC 265 tournament.

The Irishman laconically admired the Brazilian, calling him a legend.
“Jose Aldo is a true legend,” Conor McGregor wrote on his Twitter page.
Recall that Aldo defeated Munoz by unanimous decision. For the Brazilian, this victory was the second in a row – in December 2020, he defeated the Ecuadorian Marlon Vera by a judicial decision. Before that, Aldo suffered three defeats in a row, which were inflicted on him by Alexander Volkanovsky, Marlon Moraes and Petr Yan.

McGregor’s fight with Aldo took place in December 2015 at the UFC 194 tournament and ended with Conor’s victory by knockout in the first round.
