MMA news Demetrious Johnson spoke about his problems with tall rivals.

Speaking about the February 24 fight against ONE Championship flyweight champion Adriano Moraes, former UFC star Demetrious Johnson admitted that he has always had problems facing taller opponents.

MMA news: Demetrious Johnson spoke about his problems with tall rivals.

“Moraes is a great athlete. He is a great champion. He had bone-to-bone fights with Jehe Eustaquio. They were great fights to learn from. In the end, we will be challenging him. Let’s see how we look against him.”

Throughout my career I have always had problems fighting tall, long-armed opponents. In the UFC bantamweight title, fights against Miguel Torres and Dominick Cruz are remembered. You could also look at Tim Elliott, who was long and wiry enough for the flyweight division.

If you take a look at my career, I’ve always had small problems with taller opponents. During the fight, you just run into a lot more mass. When you fight guys who are a little bigger by nature, they will be bigger, taller and longer. This is another challenge to be tackled, “- said Demetrios Johnson in an interview with MMA Fighting.
