Watch the video as UFC star Nate Diaz slaps drunk man who tried to assault him and his crew

It seems like Nate Diaz can’t stay away from fighting. When he’s not competing inside the octagon, the Stockton native is often spotted getting into physical altercations and confronting naysayers.

Most recently, Diaz got into a backstage melee with Jake Paul’s crew ahead of his fight against Anderson Silva.

The 37-year-old also squared up against Dillon Danis and slapped his teammate before the situation was brought under control.

‘The Problem Child’ addressed the brawl in an episode of BS w/ Jake Paul, claiming that Diaz is a “problem maker”:

“He’s a f**king problem maker. He causes problems everywhere he goes. They got into three fights at the club this week in Scottsdale leading up [to the fight]. He just wants to fight random f**king people bro.”

In the latest chapter of Nate Diaz’s brawling adventures, a video has surfaced on the internet where a drunk man attempted to assault him and his crew. Diaz initially tried to diffuse the situation and advised the aggressor to retreat.

However, when he refused to give ground, Diaz launched the infamous ‘Stockton Slap’ and his team backed him up.

Sean O’Malley weighs in on what’s next for Nate Diaz

Nate Diaz has built a loyal fan base for himself thanks to all the memorable battles he has been a part of in a UFC career spanning over fifteen years.

The Stockton native officially fought out his current contract with the world’s premier MMA organization when he defeated Tony Ferguson via submission at UFC 279.

Launching his own fight promotion and competing in boxing matches are among the various ventures that Diaz wishes to embark on going forward. A fight against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul also seems to be on the cards for the American.

In a recent interview with Marc Raimondi of ESPN MMA, no.1-ranked bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley spoke about Diaz’s future outside the UFC:

“I mean, the Nate Diaz vs. Jake Paul one, I was kind of thinking that was going to happen. Now I’m leaning towards it probably won’t. There’s not a lot of talks about it. I don’t know…I’ll watch whatever Nate does next. Nate wants to box, Nate wants to go fishing on pay-per-view, I’ll watch. Nate’s a character.”
