Why Usher has purged his Twitter X account of all messages following the arrest of Sean Diddy Combs

Doe admitted the trauma has shaped his life in profound ways, contributing to the end of his marriage and a struggle with mental health.

For the first time, a man anonymously suing Sean “Diddy” Combs has spoken publicly about the alleged abuse he claims to have suffered at the hands of the music mogul.

The man, known only as John Doe, shared his emotional account of the trauma he endured in an interview with CNN on Tuesday, discussing the lasting impact of the alleged assault on his life.

The interview marked the first time one of Combs’ civil accusers has publicly shared their story. Doe admitted the trauma has shaped his life in profound ways, contributing to the end of his marriage and a struggle with mental health.

“It was just an amazing level of incapacitation that I had never experienced before and I felt powerless,” Doe noted.

Doe initially filed his civil suit against Combs on October 14, accusing the music mogul of drugging and sodomising him during one of his infamous White Parties nearly two decades ago. The alleged incident occurred in 2007, when Doe was employed by a private security firm and was asked to work at Combs’ estate in East Hampton, New York. In his lawsuit, Doe states that Combs provided him with two drinks, which he believes were spiked with GHB and ecstasy. After drinking the second, he claims he became severely ill, and Combs allegedly took advantage of the situation, forcing him into an empty vehicle and assaulting him, CNN reported.

‘Affects every single thing’

He further told the broadcaster that he has kept this secret to himself since the event, not even revealing the abuse to his then-wife. “The full gravity of it lives with me to this day,” he said. “It affects every single thing you do for the rest of your life.”

Doe also revealed that a celebrity had witnessed the alleged abuse. However, he chose not to name the individual, merely describing their reaction as finding the incident “amusing.”

Despite the publicity surrounding the case, Doe expressed a desire to maintain his privacy, saying, “I have a semblance of a life, a very quiet life. I would prefer what little is left of it to be left alone.”

“Nothing could give me back the person I was before that evening,” he added.

Doe’s claims are part of a series of civil lawsuits against Combs. At least 120 alleged victims are expected to file claims, with 20 lawsuits already submitted. The music mogul, who is also facing federal charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering, has pleaded not guilty to all allegations of abuse.

Representatives for Combs declined to comment on Doe’s accusations, but his legal team has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, stating that the truth will prevail in court. “Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—adult or minor, man or woman,” they said in an October statement.
