Juventus started negotiations with Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu. Japan international has been on their radar for a while now.
The Bianconeri were interested in his services even before the right-back moved to Arsenal. And the Old Lady will likely approach the Gunners for negotiations for Tomiyasu.
The Bianconeri have identified a chance to add Takehiro in the summer. With the Spanish manager keen on adding a new defender to his squad, a move away from the London club for the 24-year-old defender is a possibility.
However, it won’t be easy, given how important the Japanese defender has been to Arsenal of late.
The Asian right-back joined the Gunners back in the summer of 2021 from Bologna. Ever since his arrival at Arsenal, he has played an integral part in their progress. The Japanese has been essential to the London club’s cause in the ongoing campaign.
The former Bologna defender has featured in a total of 48 games for Arsenal and has three assists to his name. In the ongoing campaign, Tomiyasu has played 27 games for the club in red and white.
