Sean Strickland’s comments at Belal Muhammad cause uproar,Belal Reacts

Sean Strickland has suffered mass criticism after his racial comments towards Belal Muhammad

Strickland is known for making controversial comments on social media. He hit back at Jake Paul for calling him a bully when he sparred with influencer Sneako, saying he would take the Problem Child’s life if he could. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion also referred to rapper Machine Gun Kelly as the devil during an interaction at a Power Slap event. Now, he has turned his attention to Belal Muhammad. Belal will take on UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards at UFC 304.

He has eight wins and a one no-contest against Edwards in 2021. This was after Edwards accidentally poked Belal Muhammad in the eye. Belal’s focus is on the fight, knowing he could become champion. He has had issues with Strickland in the past. This was after Sean shared a clip of them training. As he did so, Sean pointed at Belal Muhammad and called him Thunder Thumbs. That caused a reaction from Belal Muhammad, while Strickland replied with a challenge to fight.

Belal Muhammad Reacts

“This guy’s trying to act tough again on social media. Looking for clout chasing, trying to get views for a podcast. I offered to fight you. You turned it down. You putting out this video of you recording from a distance, muttering under your breath, thunder thumbs, which is not even clever.

“Your racist hillbilly fans are saying ‘Oh man you’re a beast’, ‘you’re a man’, look how crazy he is. But look at the distance. It’s like someone recording a lion in the wild. You stay at a safe distance. You don’t get into the danger zone. [And] you didn’t get into the danger zone. Just stop this. You’re not that guy. You’re more of like an emo Peewee Herman,” Belal

But now Strickland has taken things a step further by making a derogatory comment about the fighter.

Sean Strickland Responds

Strickland has also alienated his former friend, Chris Curtis. The MMA fighter has been close to Strickland as they have been training partners. They even began a podcast entitled ‘The Man Dance.’ But things have taken a turn for the worse. Sean alleged that their issues began when Strickland turned down a sparring drill. Curtis was reportedly offended, while Sean asked his X followers what to get his liberal friends. That was enough to end their friendship as Curtis blocked Sean on X. The pair then explained their differences to their fanbase as the friendship was over.

“Weakness is cancer man, literally it spreads through the gym like a virus…. It effects everyone… I can be pretty hard. Probably too militant. But. Curt wanted to drill during sparring and I said no do it on your own time and his lost it…Curt we miss you lol,” Sean

“For those wondering, I believe there is a certain amount of respect that you give to those who support you. When that respect is not reciprocated, it doesn’t matter who it is, those people can no longer be involved in your inner circle. It’s that simple. Life goes on guys,” Curtis
