The famous American coach Teofimo Lopez, Sr., refused to assess the performance of his compatriot Ryan Garcia in a fight with Briton Luke Campbell.
According to Lopez, Ryan defeated an opponent who felt like a loser even before the fight and even in such a situation he had problems.
“How would I rate Ryan? No, no evaluation this time. Luke Campbell in this fight was completely different from the guy who fought with Jorge Linares or Lomachenko and still managed to knock Garcia down.
Watch the video when Luke entered the ring. I said that he had already lost in his head. Yes, Ryan fought and won, but I don’t understand why he and his team were so happy after the fight. It seemed that they were relieved, ”said Lopez Sr.
Recall that the fight between Garcia and Campbell took place on January 2 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, USA. Ryan won by knockout in the seventh round.
