American mixed martial arts fighter Tony Ferguson has once again criticized the UFC lightweight champion of the Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov. This time, Tony didn’t like Khabib’s record.
According to Ferguson, Nurmagomedov, before joining the UFC, had many fights that were sanctioned as two-round fights. Tony argues that such fights cannot be added to the professional record of a fighter.
“Khabib’s record? Facts: More than half of Nurmagomedov’s professional fights were sanctioned in only two rounds. All fights before the UFC. For a fight to be recorded on your track record, in most leagues, you need to have three sanctioned rounds. For example, in leagues like the UFC.
So three two-round fights in TUF should have been added to my record. Please add three more knockout wins to my track record, ” – Ferguson wrote on social media.
