UFC 280 Salaries

According to a report by TOTAL, the premier MMA promotion has shelled out upwards of five million dollars in total fighter pay for UFC 280. Both main event fighters have reportedly cleared the million mark in individual payouts.

Newly crowned lightweight champion Islam Makhachev racked up a total of $1.03 million through his guaranteed pay, winning bonus, pay-per-view shares, and performance bonus.

The other half of the main event, Charles Oliveira, pulled in an even more impressive figure of $1.29 million through his base pay of $750k, $500k from pay-per-view, and $32k from other promotional bonuses.

In the co-main event, T.J. Dillashaw raked in a total of $120k while bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling was paid $670k which include his pay-per-view shares and winning bonus.

In the highly anticipated bantamweight clash between former champion Petr Yan and Sean O’Malley, the Russian earned $270k, while ‘Sugar’ took home a significantly higher fight purse of $470k.

In another lightweight matchup on the main card, No.6-ranked contender Beneil Dariush took home $310k, while his opponent Mateusz Gamrot raked in $80k.

In the women’s flyweight matchup on the UFC 280 main card, surging contender Manon Fiorot pulled in $73.4k, while the former title challenger Katlyn Chookagian took home $77.6k
