The current UFC lightweight champion Aljamain Sterling said on social networks that he signed a contract for a rematch with Russian fighter Petr Yan. Sterling turned to Yan: “I hope you have studied the rules of MMA”
The first fight of Petr Yan and Sterling took place in March of this year at UFC 259. The fight was stopped in the fourth round, when the Russian struck a prohibited knee blow, after which the American could not continue the fight. As a result, Yan was disqualified, and Sterling was recognized as the champion.
“I’m officially coming for dat ? again. Hope you you been studying the MMA Rules book. See you October 30th @petr_yan“, Sterling wrote on Instagram.
