Former UFC champion Conor McGregor, while communicating with fans on Twitter, answered a question about the timing of his return to the octagon. According to the star Irishman, he is recovering very quickly after a broken leg received in a fight with Dustin Porrier, and plans to perform next year.
“How soon till we see you fight again champ?” one of McGregor’s subscribers asked.
“2022. I’m improving rapidly! Working with the best team money can buy! I’ll be back in no time, lock loaded!” Conor McGregor replied.
Recall that at the July UFC 264, McGregor lost to Dustin Porrier, as he broke his leg at the end of the first round and could not continue the fight. This was the third meeting for the fighters. In 2014, Conor knocked out Dustin Porrier in the first round, but in January of this year, the American got his revenge by defeating “The Notorious” in the second round.
