American mixed martial arts fighter Cory Sandhagen believes that after defeating his compatriot Frankie Edgar, he should receive the title fight.
“Frankie Edgar looked really good against Pedro Munhoz. Before that, his two fights, of course, were unsuccessful. He is 38 years old, but I think that age is not a hindrance and during our fight we will see old Edgar.
If I win, I think I should get a title shot. It makes sense. I am now in second place in the ranking and I think that I deserve to fight for the title if I win. I’m not going to play games with the UFC.
I wanted to stay busy and I wanted to get a top-named opponent. Edgar is such an opponent, ”said Cory Sandhagen.
