American mixed martial artist Calvin Kattar has shared his expectations for the upcoming bout with former UFC featherweight champion fellow countryman Max Halloway.
“I watched a lot of Max’s fights during training camp and didn’t see anything new about him. Therefore, I believe that we understand what we are getting ourselves into. I’m more interested in realizing what I’m good at and how I can neutralize Holloway’s strengths.
I think a lot of guys are losing even before the fight with an opponent of Max’s level. I’m completely focused on getting out and showing my best qualities. I will allow myself to be relaxed and do my job. Yes, I have a big fight ahead of me, but I can’t miss my chance. So I have to be in my best shape, ”said Calvin Kattar.
Recall that the duel between Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar will be the main event of the UFC on ABC 1 tournament, which will take place on January 16 on Yas Island at the Flash Forum indoor complex in Abu Dhabi.
