Boxing great Canelo Alvarez will be back in action this Saturday night (May 4, 2024) LIVE on DAZN boxing pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the Mexican superstar defends his undisputed super middleweight title against undefeated brawler Jaime Munguia.
This is a massive matchup on paper. Alvarez hasn’t looked quite as dominant in recent outings and Munguia has been an absolute killer throughout his career, which is evident by his 43-0 professional record. The 27-year-old Mexican fighter has never faced someone as good and as accomplished as Canelo so this will be a true test of skill for Munguia.
For Canelo, this is yet another chance for him to knock off a younger and very hungry boxer trying to take the next step up. Munguia has fought some decent competition throughout the years, but Canelo is still a massive betting favorite for Saturday’s fight. It will once again be his fight to lose.
