Conor McGregor and Jon Jones recreate the iconic Rolex moment at Trump's inauguration celebration

Jon Jones and the former champ-champ Conor McGregor recreated their iconic ‘Rolex’ moment while in Washington D.C. to celebrate Trump’s second term at POTUS.

Undisputed UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Irish megastar Conor McGregor recreated their iconic ‘Rolex’ video while attending Donald Trump’s inauguration earlier this week.

A slew of combat sports’ top stars were on hand to see Trump sworn into office for the second time, including UFC CEO Dana White, Colby Covington, and Jake and Logan Paul. Also in D.C. for the festivities were ‘Bones’ and ‘Mystic Mac’ who linked up and recreated their hilarious video from more than a decade ago when McGregor asked Jones to flex his “number two” Rolex.

Conor McGregor Praises Trump After Securing Second Term

While McGregor made the rounds, posing for pictures with a slew of celebrities like political commentator Ben Shapiro, the former two-division UFC champion took a moment to share his optimism over Trump’s second term and seeing the American people finally back the 47th President of the United States after a tumultuous first term.

“Amazing to be here. I’m very excited,” McGregor said. “Very optimistic about the future. And it’s a good time here in the United States. I was here the last time Donald Trump became president in 2016. And the energy and the response is night and day, which is a testament to how he’s done as a president, his last run, and how he’s handled himself since.”

McGregor also praised Trump’s resiliency after coming up short in the 2020 election.

“Lessons learned. Hard lessons learned,” McGregor added. “And a backing of his country now. I feel the people are backing him. And I’m excited to see him go do it. I hope he does, and I wish him all the best.”
