Conor McGregor is confident that one minute will be enough for him to knock out Dustin Poirier

Former UFC two-weight champion Conor McGregor said he has a lot of respect for his future rival American Dustin Poirier, whom he considers a strong fighter. Still, the Irishman is confident that Dustin is on a completely different level and promises to put him to sleep in 60 seconds of the first round.

“I like Poirier. I think he is a good fighter. Perhaps even a great fighter. But he is still one level below me. I will knock Dustin out within 60 seconds, ” – McGregor said.

Recall that the duel between Conor and Poirier will be the main event of UFC 257, which will take place on January 23rd on Yas Island at the Flash Forum indoor complex in Abu Dhabi. Note that the rivals already met in September 2014, at UFC 178, and McGregor knocked out his opponent in the first half of the first round.
