UFC President Dana White says that, despite all the obstacles, he intends to organize a fight between the Swede Khamzat Chimaev and the third number of the welterweight division of the organization, Briton Leon Edwards.
“This is a fight that needs to be organized. I love the idea of their battle. Both fighters have given their consent, so we’ll figure it out. We will fix the situation as quickly as we can. I just want to make sure both guys are healthy and have no problem with COVID, ”said Dana White
Recall that the fight between Edwards and Chimaev was broken twice. The rivals were originally supposed to meet on December 19th, but Leon tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, the fight was postponed to February 20, but it also had to be canceled due to complications after the same disease, only at Khamzat.
