Former UFC two-weight champion American Daniel Cormier believes that the winner of the fight between his compatriot Michael Chandler and New Zealander Dan Hooker should challenge the Irishman Conor McGregor.
“Michael Chandler’s participation in the co-main event of this tournament puts him in an ideal position, and so does Dan Hooker. If my name is Dan Hooker and I win the fight, I have to say something about McGregor. Whoever wins this fight must challenge McGregor. Therefore, Conor has no way not to answer. He will say something in response to anyone and this will elevate you, ” – said Daniel Cormier.
Dan Hooker and Michael Chandler will fight in the co-main event of UFC 257, which takes place on January 23rd on Yas Island at the Flash Forum indoor complex in Abu Dhabi. Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier will meet in the main event of the same event.
