Mixed martial arts legend Fedor Emelianenko can hold a repeat fight with American Matt Mitrione, who four years ago managed to finish the Russian in the first round.
This was reported by the sports correspondent of the TASS news agency Igor Lazorin, referring to the head of Bellator Scott Coker:
“Matt Mitrion can become the next opponent of Fedor Emelianenko. I spoke to Bellator president Scott Coker tonight, and he said that Fedor hasn’t forgotten that fight and wants a rematch,” Lazorin wrote on Instagram.
We will remind, earlier it was already said that the next fight of Fedor Emelianenko will head the first Bellator tournament in Russia, which is scheduled for the fall. In his last fight, in December 2019 ,the “Last Emperor” defeated Quinton Jackson, finishing the former UFC champion at the very beginning of the fight.
