Francis Ngannou posted a brilliant response to Tyson Fury's postponed fight with Oleksandr Usyk

Francis Ngannou has provided a brilliant response to Tyson Fury’s fight against Oleksandr Usyk being postponed.

The heavyweight unification bout between Fury and Usyk had been set to take place on February 17. However, the fight has now been delayed after Fury suffered a severe cut while sparring.

Tyson Fury appears to be out of his scheduled matchup with Oleksandr Usyk due to an accidental elbow.

On Friday, Fury was forced out of his planned heavyweight unification bout with Uysk due to a nasty cut over his right eyebrow sustained during training. And after video was released of the incident, it appears that despite wearing headgear, it was an elbow that landed and cut Fury open.

Francis Ngannou was quick to react to the news and posted a meme of himself mocked up as actor Kevin James. He then suggested that his fight against Anthony Joshua on March 8 should be for the undisputed title.

The caption read: ‘So me and Joshua for the undisputed title March 8?’.

Former UFC star Francis Ngannou faced Fury in Saudi Arabia in October last year in his first professional boxing match but ended up losing by a controversial split decision.

Francis Ngannou is due to take on Joshua in Saudi Arabia on March 8.

Recently, Ngannou claimed that Joshua doesn’t ‘have the strength’ to beat him.

Speaking on the High Performance podcast, Ngannou said: ‘Never say never. Nothing is impossible. We don’t know the strength of Anthony Joshua.

‘Even though I don’t believe he has that strength, we’re going to find out. In two months, we’re going to find out. I’m going to be the one taking his soul’.
