WBC Middleweight World Champion American Jermall Charlo reacted emotionally to Mexican Saul Alvarez’s victory against Briton Billy Joe Saunders.
Charlo wrote in one of the social networks that he was ready to give up his title and rise to the second middle division for the fight with Alvarez.
“F*** the money, f*** fame, and f*** the networks,” said Jermall Charlo on social media.
“I’ll lose my [WBC middleweight] title and got to 168 to make the fight [with Canelo] happen now. Boxing needs this fight to happen.” – wrote Charlo
Recall that the fight between Saul Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders took place today at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA and the Mexican won an early victory. At stake were the WBA, WBC and WBO middleweight world titles.
