John Kavanagh, McGregor’s coach, says there is no need to worry as everything goes according to plan.
Recently, former UFC two-weight champion Irishman Conor McGregor showed his physical fitness by posting a photo on Twitter showing that the fighter has built up muscle mass. This led many to question whether Conor would have any weight problems ahead of the rematch with American Dustin Poirier.

“Yes, many are worried about it. My dad calls all the time expressing his concern that Conor gained too much weight because at this stage he looks like a tank. But everything is going according to plan. We control everything, it concerns the physical and moral process. Yes, if you look at him now and find a video when he was in welterweight, then there is practically no difference, ”the coach said.
Recall that Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier will fight on January 23rd on Yas Island at the Flash Forum indoor complex in Abu Dhabi, in the main event of UFC 257.
