Nine days after defeating Petr Yan by disqualification, the reigning UFC bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling, personally posted the first photo with the championship belt.
Moreover, anticipating the reaction of the fans, who from the moment of the fight have unleashed an inexhaustible barrage of criticism on him, the American posted a photo-meme where he is depicted with the most prestigious award for acting – the Oscar.
“Some say he’s an actor. Some say he’s the champ! Run it back ! ”- wrote Aljamain Sterling.
Peter Yan, disqualified for an illegal knee kick in the fourth round at UFC 259 in Las Vegas, did not disregard the publication of his opponent.
“Chicken, don’t shame!” – wrote the Russian in the comments.
Peter Yan also reminded the American what exactly happened in the duel, as a result of which Sterling became the champion.

Earlier, it was reported that an immediate rematch between Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling could lead the UFC 262 , which is scheduled for May 15.
