Travis Head opens up on facing India, his incredible performances, and what makes the rivalry special

Australia star batter Travis Head talks about his consistent performance against India and how much he has enjoyed playing against them. The Aussie batter shared his plans and mentality while playing against one of the biggest rival teams in international cricket.

The Aussies are currently on a roll especially after they have got the better of the Indian bowlers on the first day itself. The star for the Aussies so far has Travis Head who scored a magnificent century, keeping the Aussies dominant throughout the 2nd day of the Test match. Head scored his 2nd century of the series scoring 152 from 160 deliveries. This was another world-class counter-attacking innings from the flamboyant southpaw which got the crowd on its feet.

There is no doubt that Travis Head has played many great knocks against some of the best international teams in the world, but he has enjoyed more playing against the Indian side. He has talked about his mindset throughout the series so far.

“I said earlier in the series, we play them a hell of a lot. So, yeah, it’s nice that I feel in form at the moment and nice to make the most of it. It’s very rare in the game that you find yourself in positions like this and at the start of the series, I think I’ve outdone what I thought my expectations were and yeah, pretty special to be able to back it up this week. I felt like I batted really well in Perth and in Adelaide and to come out and then do the job again is nice. It’s never, ever guaranteed. So, nice to be able to do a job again today,” Head while speaking exclusively on Star Sports network.

Travis Head is the leading run-getter in the series and he has once again made life miserable for the Indian bowlers with his counter-attacking style of batting. It turns out that no matter which format India is playing against the Aussies Travis Head will always be an obstacle for them. Head talks about his consistent performance against India
