Reigning Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Vadim Nemkov commented on the official announcement of the Promotion’s Light Heavyweight Grand Prix.
Note that on April 16, at Bellator 257, Nemkov will have a duel within the Grand Prix quarterfinals with American Phil Davis, with whom the Russian has already met earlier, having won then by a split decision.
“A powerful grand prix and immediately revenge with a strong opponent! Very strong fighters, and I think Bellator now has the strongest light heavyweights in the world!” – wrote the Russian fighter on his Instagram.
In other quarterfinals, Ryan Bader and Lyoto Machida, Corey Anderson and Dovletjan Yagshimuradov, as well as Anthony Johnson and Yoel Romero will fight.
