British mixed martial artist Leon Edwards says he is going to confidently defeat the Swede Khamzat Chimaev to secure his place in the race for the title fight.
“I’m going to finish it. I have to prove that I am worthy of a champion fight. So I go there to test Khamzat in all directions and finish the fight ahead of schedule.
Throughout my career, I have proved something to someone. At one time, people doubted that I could get through five rounds, so I deliberately walked the full distance of the fight. When they said that I could not fight, I fought. In every fight I tried to prove something, but in this fight I’m going to be myself and just dominate. I will be aggressive and I will win, ”said Edwards.
Recall that Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev will fight on March 13 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA in the main event of the UFC Fight Night 187.
