Bellator MMA President Scott Coker has suggested that Nate Diaz and Dillon Danis could settle their differences inside the Bellator cage.
MMA megastar and former UFC fighter Diaz was in attendance for the UFC 281 event that transpired at Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City (NYC) on November 12.
While the veteran fighter didn’t compete at the event, he piqued the attention of the MMA world due to his verbal altercation with Dillon Danis outside MSG.
The scuffle between Nate Diaz and Dillon Danis’ respective entourages outside MSG was seemingly de-escalated by Danis’ manager Audie Attar. Diaz appeared to be cordial with Attar.
However, an individual from Danis’ entourage continued to talk trash Diaz. This prompted the Stockton native to slap the individual. Thankfully, security personnel and others in the vicinity ensured that Diaz and Danis didn’t get into a physical altercation with each other.
In an interview with The Schmo, Scott Coker was asked about the Diaz-Danis incident and regarding Danis’ long-awaited return to the Bellator MMA cage. Coker responded by stating:
“You know, I really don’t know. I mean, you know, to me, it’s like — Look, if fighters wanna fight for free, please give me a call. These are professional athletes. They should be fighting for the money they deserve. But we’ll see about Dillon Danis. I really have no update right now.”

Michael Bisping foresees Jake Paul beating Nate Diaz in a potential boxing match
Following Nate Diaz’s UFC departure in September, it’s been speculated that his much-discussed boxing matchup against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul could finally come to fruition.
Paul, for his part, previously hinted at boxing Diaz next but has lately been lobbying for a fight against arch-rival Tommy Fury. Neither fight has been officially confirmed as of yet.
In an edition of his Believe You Me Podcast, Michael Bisping explained that Diaz has primarily competed at lightweight and welterweight in MMA. Furthermore, ‘The Count’ warned that Diaz would lose a boxing match to the bigger Paul, who’s a cruiserweight pugilist:
“I don’t think Nate Diaz would beat Jake [Paul] in a boxing fight if I’m honest. He’s [Nate Diaz] just too small. At 170 [pounds], he went five and five in the UFC. He was predominantly a lightweight, you know, size matters.”
Bisping also criticized Diaz for getting into altercations with Paul’s team at the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva boxing event last month. Moreover, ‘The Count’ opined that Diaz is “pushing 40,” doesn’t have the size and power of Paul, and isn’t as experienced in the boxing realm.
