Carltavius ” Tay ” Jones Johnson, a boxer from Deontay Wilder’s team, claims that he received confirmation of rumors that the WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury was knocked out during a sparring match.
Deontay Wilder is convinced that Tyson Fury withdrew from the third fight with him in July not because of a coronavirus, but because he looked bad in training camp. Jones, meanwhile, added fuel to the fire and said that the “Gypsy King” was knocked out by the undefeated American prospect-heavyweight Jared Anderson.
“Just got confirmation that Tyson Fury was indeed knocked out cold in sparring with Jared Anderson…. From top guys from around him lol been telling people this really happened” Carltavius Jones Johnson wrote on his Twitter page.
Recall that initially the Tyson Fury – Deontay Wilder trilogy was supposed to take place on July 24, but it was postponed to October 9 due to a positive test of the British champion for coronavirus.
