“Surprise surprise I’m coming back to smash everybody” – , – wrote Khamzat Chimaev on his Instagram.

At the same time, his manager, Ali Abdel-Aziz, also announced the return of Khamzat, who posted a photo of the fighter in his Instagram story, leaving the following comment: “soon.”

Recall that Chimaev faced serious health problems that arose after the coronavirus he suffered. The fighter was twice forced to withdraw from the fight against Leon Edwards, and in early March he announced his retirement from the sport altogether, since it was difficult for him to return to the previous level of training.

Note that Chimaev made his UFC debut in July last year and spent three fights in a short time, defeating John Phillips, Rhys McKee and Gerald Meerschaert ahead of schedule.
